Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico was born into a music-loving family. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to traditional music, boleros from the past, and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana is a fan of Tangos. She also loves operas and any form dramatic performance. Ana started learning how to sing and play music at an early age with her mother. She was given more formal vocal training when she was 16 years old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. The beginning of her professional career included performances with a variety of orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs in Guadalajara. When she moved to the United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002, she made her way to Southern California. She's a frequent solo performer for private events and parties singing the traditional Latin American Music. As a musician and teacher Ana is a dedicated participant in various community-based projects because of her passion and passion for music. Ana has been a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of classic Latin American songs and hopes to inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
