Rosalia

Rosalia Vila known as Rosalia is an Spanish flamenco and pop artist. From her teens, she's been involved with the edges of both classical and pop music. She also plays with genres like hip-hop soul and trap. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela characterized her voice as delicate and sharp, however she still featuring the sharpness of older singers. El Mal Querer was her significant commercial breakthrough and critical success in 2018. After Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist It also topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she was awarded a Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd was released in 2021. Motomami was her third album that was full-length. The album featured songs written in collaboration with other musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. The set came out in the month of March 2022, following the Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish soloist to appear on the show on Saturday Night Live. In addition to winning three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
